PESHAWAR, July 11: Wapda’s Engineers Association has asked the police department and other security personnel to help Peshawar Electricity Supply Company’s staff to operate in the “no-go” areas of the district. WEA chief Qurban Ali Khan said that Pesco workers needed the help of law-enforcers to press ahead with their drive against electricity theft and evolve a connection culture in rural areas of the district.
“We need public representatives’ help and cooperation in stopping power pilferage,” Mr Qurban told a press conference on Monday.
