World record offer for Ronaldinho
ROME, July 8: English champions Chelsea are prepared to offer Barcelona 120 million euros for their Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho, the Corriere dello sport claimed on Friday.
According to the newspaper, the club’s multi-millionaire owner Roman Abramovich is ready to hand the 25-year-old Brazilian a nine-year contract worth in total 140m euros.
Ronaldinho, who has played for the Spanish champions since 2003, is currently in talks with Barcelona with the aim of extending his deal until 2010.—AFP
