SRINAGAR, July 6: Six people were killed in the latest bout of violence in occupied Kashmir while panic gripped the region’s main commercial hub as militants attacked a minister’s motorcade, police said on Wednesday.
Two police guards were injured when suspected militants attacked state public health minister Syed Bashir’s security convoy near Srinagar’s busy Lal Chowk area.—AFP
