Shake-up in N. Areas bureaucracy
GILGIT, July 5: The Northern Areas administration has transferred Gilgit Deputy Commissioner Zarak Mirza and posted him as the Skardu district DC. Additional secretary to Northern Areas chief secretary Asadullah has been posted as Gilgit deputy commissioner. Skardu Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shafa has been made Gilgit additional deputy commissioner.
Sources said Northern Areas secretary transport, commerce and tourism Zafar Iqbal has been made OSD.
Director education (school academics) Shahzada Ibrahim has been transferred and posted as director (planning) in the education department, whereas Northern Areas College of Education’s principal Chaudhry Khalid Mehmood has been posted as director education (school academics).
