Summer squash camp

ABBOTTABAD, July 4: A summer training camp of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) is being held at the Janser Khan Squash Complex here, but only four players out of six have reported to join the camp. players who turned up at the camp are Khayal Muhammad, Basit Ashfaq, Aqib and Yasir Butt, while Amir Atlas and Bilal Zaman have not joined the camp.

Pakistan’s national coach Rehmat Khan along with Ayaz are supervising camp training for which tough schedule of six hours, which includes physical fitness, individual practice, court practice and match practice.

The camp will continue till the start of Pakistan Open Squash chmapionship which is scheduled to be held from July 17 in Karachi.

Rehmat, while talking to reporters, said that weather conditions at Abbottabad were perfect and all the facilities including three international standard courts and beautiful gymnasium were ideal for training.

He said that the senior and junior players had improved their performance in the national and international competitions after the camp trainings at Abbottabad.
