Protest against price hike
LAHORE, July 2: The Labour Party will launch a protest campaign against price hike and privatization from July 4. Secretary-general Farooq Tariq says a demonstration outside the Lahore Press Club will be held on Monday evening to mark the initiation of the drive. Criticizing financial policies of the government, he said the hike in prices of petroleum products, gas, cement and vegetables had made lives of the poor miserable. — Staff Reporter
