POL price hike resented

By Our Staff Reporter

KARACHI, July 2: Trade and industry has resented increase in POL prices, and said it would enhance cost of production and make Pakistani product uncompetitive in the world market.

Towel Manufacturers’ Association of Pakistan (TMA) chairman Syed Usman Ali said that since diesel oil and gas are basic inputs in all industrial processes, it would make products uncompetitive in the world market.
