Officials transferred
LAHORE, June 30: In disregard of the Election Commission ban on posting/transfers following the announcement of local bodies’ election schedule, the Punjab government reshuffled on Thursday night nearly three dozen officials. The Punjab government, through a handout issued at 11.25pm, announced transfer /posting of the officials of grade 17 and above.
Two dozen of the transferred officials belong to the revenue department which is notorious for manipulating polls.
