MQM invites Shujaat, Qazi to APC

KARACHI, June 29: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement has invited Jamaat-i-Islami chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed, PML president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, chief of Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf Imran Khan, PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Baloch leader Abdul Hayee Baloch to its all-party conference to discuss the local bodies’ polls and a code of conduct.

According to a press release issued by the MQM here on Wednesday, MQM’s parliamentary leader in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar called on leaders of different political parties and handed over invitations for the APC.

Member of the MQM Coordination Committee Nasreen Jalil and other MQM leaders called upon former prime minister and president of the National People’s Party Ghulam Mustafa Jatoi and JUP president Shah Faridul Haq and invited them to the conference. —PPI
