DADU, June 28: The district president of the People’s Party Parliamentarians, MNA Rafique Jamali, has said that the government is creating two talukas in Dadu district for dividing the PPP vote in the interest of the PML.

He was speaking at a public meeting in the Siddique Zour village on Monday night.

He said the Sindh government and PML leaders were trying to divide his constituency also.

He said the PPP candidates would contest in local bodies’ elections and would win in the district.

He said the government was mounting pressure over the PPP leaders to change their loyalties.

PPP leaders Abdul Haq Brohi, Dileep Kumar, UC-II Nazim Nisar Shaikh and UC-III Nazim Amin Birhamani spoke on the occasion.

MPA: People’s Party MPA Farheen Mughal has said that killing of innocent women after dubbing them kari should be stopped and equal rights be given to women in every field.

She was speaking at a meeting of the district coordination forum of the Sindh Development Society at Gymkhana here on Tuesday.

She said low literacy rate was one of the reasons for violence against women.

Taluka Nazim Syed Zafar Ali Shah and Sangat Development Organization president Vinta Bano also spoke on the occasion.
