KARACHI, June 28: The Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) has once again cautioned the public to submit their applications for regularization of buildings by June 30 after which action will be taken against all illegal structures and buildings.

This was said in a briefing given to City Nazim Niamatullah Khan about the ongoing regularization of illegal buildings at a meeting on ‘Regularization 2000’ on Tuesday.

Among others, the meeting was attended by the Chief Controller of KBCA, Brig A.S. Nasir, and Officer on Special Duty Rauf Akhtar Farooqi.

Regularization of structures and warehouses at Hawkesbay Truck Stand came under consideration in the meeting.

The chief controller informed that no applications were being received for regularization of illegal buildings from Mauripur and SITE. He said a camp office had been established at Hawkesbay Truck Stand to expedite up the process.—APP/PPI
