Doha round talks

BRUSSELS, June 28: The current so-called Doha round of international trade liberalization talks at the World Trade Organization are dangerously close to failure, politicians and trade negotiators said here on Tuesday.

WTO members are aiming to kick-start the Doha round of trade liberalization talks, launched in the Qatari capital in 2001, in order be able to have a deal ready for ministerial talks in Hong Kong in December.
