Troops start pulling out of PTCL

KARACHI, June 27: Security forces, including army troops, started leaving major installations of the Pakistan Telecommunication Company on Monday night. A spokesman for the Inter-Services Public Relations said the government was pulling army troops out of PTCL installations. An official of the PTCL confirmed that the pullout process had started and would be completed by Tuesday night.

“Security forces, including army troops, were deployed by the government on June 11. Now that situation in the PTCL has returned to normality, they are being pulled out,” he said.
