SUKKUR, June 27: Election for the district bar association was held here on Sunday. Imtiaz Soomro was elected as the president while Qurban Malano was elected general secretary.
Other office-bearers include vice-president Shafqat Rahim, joint secretary Jawed Qureshi, library secretary Asif Mughal and finance secretary Sardar Shah.
M. B. Khagejo, Hamza Buriro, Hussain Bux Baloch, Zahid Mughal, Shabbir Sial, Samiullah Qureshi and Rahim Dino Mahar were elected as members of the managing committee.
