KARACHI, June 27: Press photographers elected the officials for the Pakistan Association of Press Photographers (PAPP) and Pakistan Press Photographers Trust (PPPT) for the year 2005–06 at the elections held at the Press Club on Monday. Mujeebur Rehman was elected unopposed as president, for the fifth time, of the PAPP. Naqeeb-ur-Rehman, Syed Shariful Hassan, Mohammad Arshad and Adeel Khan were elected vice president, general secretary, joint secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Shaikh Manzar Alam was elected vice president of the PPPT, while Mujeebur Rehman, Syed Shariful Hassan, and Mohammad Adeel were elected secretary, joint secretary, and treasurer, respectively in the elections conducted by Sajid Ali Sajid and Shakeel Salawat.
