KARACHI: Convoy attack case

KARACHI, June 26: An anti-terrorism court put off hearing of the corps commander’s convoy attack case on the request of the defence counsel.

Judge Feroze Mehmood Bhatti of the ATC-2 fixed June 29 for the next hearing after defence counsel M. R. Syed submitted before the court that he could proceed with the case due to his ailment.

The prosecution, represented by Iqtidar Ali Hashmi and Maula Bux Bhatti, has, so far, examined eight prosecution witnesses.
