MIRPURKHAS: Major power breakdown

MIRPURKHAS, June 26: A major power breakdown, lasting over five hours, hit Hirabad sub- division on Sunday morning causing immense hardship to people.

Power supply was suspended at about 6 in the morning and various localities were without electricity.

Water supply also remained disrupted in the areas.

The affected areas included Pak Colony, Ghosia Colony, Siyal colony, Gulshan-e-Rehmania, Rajar Colony, Nawab Colony, Vegetable Market, Malhi Colony, Hameedpura, Jamnadas Colony, Hirabad, Thamsabad, Nai Para, Mir Ka Plot, Khar Para, Pir Colony and Model Colony.

Power supply was restored at 11am.

When contacted, Hesco officials said that a fault had developed in the transmission system causing power disruption in the town.
