KARACHI, June 26: Three-day golden jubilee celebrations of the Bhit Shah Cultural Centre will begin from July 7. According to an announcement here on Sunday, this was stated at a high-level meeting presided over by the Sindh Minister for Culture and Tourism, Shabbir Qaimkhani.
The minister said that scholars from India had already arrived in the country to attend the golden jubilee celebrations.
The minister will lay a wreath at the mazar of Shah Latif Bhitai to mark the beginning of the three-day celebrations. He will also address a press conference on the same day. A grand mela including a music concert will be held in the evening at Bhit Shah.
The second day’s celebrations will be held in Hyderabad while the festival will conclude in Karachi.—APP
