KARACHI: Narcotics burnt

KARACHI, June 26: The Pakistan Customs Preventive Collectorate on Sunday flamed 2,000kgs of hashish and 300kgs of heroin at Neelam Point, Hawkesbay, on the occasion of Anti-Narcotics Day.

Collector Preventive Musarrat Jabeen lit the flame which burnt a large quantity of narcotics.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Coast Guards destroyed 7,610kgs of heroin, hashish, poppy flower and 4195 tins of beer worth millions of rupees at the coastal area near Hawkesbay.

The narcotics burnt included 17.58kg heroin, 6256.25kg hashish, 1,337kg poppy flower and 4,195 tins of beer.–-APP/PPI
