QUETTA, June 24: A division bench of the Balochistan High Court has issued a pre-admission notice to the advocate general of Balochistan on a petition filed by Deputy Speaker Mir Aslam Bhootani against irregularities in appointments made by the speaker.
The bench comprising Chief Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed and Justice Akhtar Zaman Malghani issued the notice on Friday. The hearing would be held next week.
The petitioner submitted that the speaker of the provincial assembly in contravention of the rules and regulations made new recruitments and decided promotion cases of the assembly and prayed to rectify the violation of rules.
