LONDON, June 23: International one-day cricket is set to return to Hampshire’s Rose Bowl next year, with England’s Twenty20 match against Sri Lanka. The recent match against Australia was a huge success, with a capacity crowd of over 15,000. Rose Bowl will have floodlights in place for the 2006 season.
Hampshire will begin work on the project shortly and plans are afoot to increase the capacity to close to 20,000.—Agencies
