LARKANA, June 22: Mirokhan police have failed to arrest killers of five members of a family. Sources told this correspondent on Wednesday that the DPO has suspended the SHO Mirokhan police station on charges of negligence and posted Fida Hussain Gopang as new SHO of the police station.

Ali Hassan had registered an FIR against seven people, Mehrab, Ghulam Abbas, Ghulam Ali, Shabir, Nadir Ali and two unidentified people.

Police were clueless about the killers, although they have conducted raids in different areas.

The five villagers Niazal Magsi, Ghulam Hussain, Imdad Hussain, Zulfikar Ali and Mohammed Panjal, who were killed in the Hakim Sultan village following a dispute over desilting an irrigation channel were laid to rest in their ancestral graveyard.
