PFUJ, Apnec defer protest programme

KARACHI, June 22: The Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) and All Pakistan Newspapers Employees Confederation (Apnec) have put off their plan to setup protest camps from June 23 to 25 against non-implementation of the Seventh Wage Board Award, in view of the formation of a high-powered committee comprising government and opposition members of the National Assembly and Senate.

However, the PFUJ and Apnec have decided that their affiliated unions will display their banners in support of their demands on June 25, says a press release.
