Democratic UN reforms urged
ISLAMABAD, June 22: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Wednesday said that the United Nations reforms should extend beyond the Security Council and must address the realities and needs of tomorrow.
Talking to UNDP Resident Representative Onder Yucer here on Wednesday, the prime minister said that the SC reforms should be equitable, democratic and representative.
He appreciated the technical assistance provided by the UNDP and expressed the hope that this cooperation would continue and increase in future, said a press release.
