Motorcyclist killed in ‘shootout’
KARACHI, June 22: A motorcyclist was killed in what police described as an encounter in Gulshan-i-Iqbal area on Wednesday night. Police said they sought to stop three men riding a motorcycle near Hasan Square. When the men tried to speed away, four policemen riding two bikes chased them and a shootout ensued.
One of the motorcyclists was killed in the shootout. Police found a mouser-pistol on his body. The other two suspects managed to escape. HC Ghulam Mohammad received a bullet in his abdomen. He was shifted to Aga Khan Hospital.
