KARACHI, June 22: Aqeela Mateen, the wife of Mateen Ahmed Khan, a former Dawn staffer and senior journalist, passed away here on Tuesday night. She was 72. She was buried on Wednesday morning. She is survived by three daughters and four sons besides the husband.
Soyem will be held after Asr prayer on Thursday for ladies at their residence — A-85, near Taqi Centre, Block J, North Nazimabad, and for men in Khairul Bashar mosque near Qalandaria Chowk, North Nazimabad.
