PhD degrees awarded

HYDERABAD, June 21: The Board of Advanced Studies of the University of Sindh at its meeting held on Tuesday approved the award of PhD degrees to four candidates. Those awarded the degrees are: Khalida Faryal Almani (pharmacy), Sehar Imdad Hussaini (Sindhi), Siraj Jamal Siddiqui (public administration) and Saima Shaikh (sociology).

The meeting discussed ongoing academic and research programmes at various institutes.

It approved the changing of MPhil research works to PhD research programmes.

Vice-chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui presided over the meting which was attended by deans of all faculties and senior professors.
