MULTAN, June 17: As many as 10 marriage party participants were injured, three of them seriously, when a bundle of firecrackers placed on the rooftop of a bus caught fire on Friday. Seetal Maari police SHO Muhammad Qasim Niazi said a wedding party of Ibrar Ahmad, son of Muhammad Sadiq, was on its way to the city when a bundle of firecrackers on top of a bus caught fire near Mauza Bohar Matum.

As a result, 10 people were injured. They were admitted to the Nishter Hospital. The SHO said the injured — Muhammad Ahmad, Ahmad Khan, Mohsin, Amir Hanif, Jamil, Mushtaq, Muhammad Ishaq, Muhammad Ramzan, Munawwar Iqbal and Muhammad Qasim — did not want any case to be registered.—APP
