ABBOTTABAD, June 17: Students and teachers of the Government Girls Primary School Kunj took out a procession and staged a sit-in outside the office of naib nazim Abbottabad district in protest against the shifting of the school to another union council.

The protesters blocked the main Jinnah Road, saying that the shifting of the school to another locality would create problems for hundreds of girls.

They said that the school had been functioning in its present premises for the last fifteen years and there was no problem. They demanded that the decision be reversed.
