ISLAMABAD, June 16: Yasin Malik, a Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader, had recovered from a stroke before he left for the occupied Kashmir on Thursday, an official of his party said. Mohammad Rafiq Dar, secretary-general of Mr Malik’s JKLF faction for Azad Kashmir and Pakistan, told Dawn that his 37-year-old leader had become fit to travel after two days of rest and cancellation of his engagements following Tuesday’s stroke blamed on fatigue and loss of sleep.
Mr Dar said Mr Malik had not taken the life-saving drugs he had been using.
