Need stressed to create civic sense
ISLAMABAD, June 16: Secretary Interior Syed Kamal Shah has said his ministry will give priority to imparting basic training on civic sense to the citizens including law-enforcement agencies. Speaking at a certificate-distribution ceremony of a week-long training programme titled Bunyadi Tarbiyyat, he said it was civic sense which differentiated between developing and developed countries. He said road scene was an integral part of civic sense.
The subjects of the training included personal hygiene, house upkeep, maintaining sanitary conditions in streets and locality, road sense, conserving natural resources, preserving the habitat, first aid and fire fighting.
