POL prices unchanged

KARACHI, June 15: The Oil Companies Advisory Committee (OCAC) on Wednesday kept the price of POL products unchanged for the next fortnight (June 16-30). In a statement, the OCAC said that during June 1-15, the prices of petroleum products increased in the international markets and the oil prices also remained higher than the fortnight of March 1-15, when the government had decided to freeze the POL prices at that level.

The oil marketing companies during the current fortnight once again continued to subsidize the price of diesel by Rs4.46, kerosene by Rs5.06 and light diesel oil by Rs4.55 a litre and would be claiming the same from the government as price differential claim.
