Chamber team for Xinjiang

GILGIT, June 15: A free trade zone will be opened at Tashqurghan town in the western Xinjiang autonomous region of China near Khunjerab border to boost bilatral border trade between the two countries. The Northern Areas Chamber of Commerce and Industry sources said that they were going to participate in the three-day long opening ceremony where Xinjiang governor is expected to open the free trade zone.

It is learnt that officials of the Northern Areas have also proceeded to Tashqurghan to participate in the event with mediapersons from Northern Areas.
