HYDERABAD, June 14: The Hyderabad health department launched a crackdown on quacks and sealed many clinics here on Tuesday. The EDO, health, Dr Nazar Mohammad Junejo, constituted a team under Dr Akram Ghumman to raid illegal clinics and take action against quacks. The team raided the clinic of Deedar Hussain, who is a clerk in the Hyderabad Civil Hospital, in Tando Saeed Khan. On noticing the raiding party, Mr Hussain ran away from the clinic which was sealed by the team. Veterinary medicines were found in the clinic. The raiding party also sealed the clinic of Lal Bux, the in charge of the civil hospital’s kitchen, in Hatri.

Later, the team raided the clinic of Mumtaz Bhatti in Talibul Maula colony who ran away from the clinic.
