KARACHI: Govt blamed for poor law, order situation
KARACHI, June 14: The provincial leader of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) and Amir Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) Dr Merajul Huda Siddiqui on Tuesday criticized the Sindh government for its alleged failure in controlling the law and order situation in Karachi and demanded its removal.
A large number of MMA women activists on Tuesday gathered at the Karachi Press Club to protest against the sacrilege of the Holy Quran by the US army, target killings of the MMA leaders.
The MMA leader accused the government of patronizing terrorists, involved in violence and killings in the city.
He demanded arrest of culprits involved in the killings of MMA leaders, Aslam Mujahid and Jamal Tahir.
The MMA leader alleged that the Muttahida Quami Movement was responsible for the terrorism in the city .
Terming the US government a terrorist state, he said by desecrating the Holy Quran it had proved that it was involved in terrorism and extremism.—PPI
