Jabbar grabs winner

KARACHI, June 13: Jabbar Hussain’s late first half strike gave Pakistan Navy a close 1-0 victory over CDGK in the National Challenge Cup soccer at latter’s ground on Monday. Jabbar struck in the 42nd minute to give sailors victory. In another match, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) defeated PWD 2-0.

Arif Nazar opened the scoring with a 20th-minute strike, while Aftab Ahmad doubled the lead five minutes before fulltime.

Tuesday’s fixtures:

KESC v Naka Mohammadan at 4.00pm; Korangi Rangers v Sindh Government Press at 6.00pm.
