PCB to get three more stadiums

LAHORE, June 13: The Punjab government has decided to hand over the administrative affairs of three stadiums to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The decision was taken in a meeting between Punjab chief minister and PCB chairman on Monday. According to a press release issued by the Punjab government Pindi Stadium, Rawalpindi, Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad and Multan Stadium, Multan would be handed over to the PCB and instructions had been issued to secretary Sports Punjab in this regard.

The PCB had been demanding the control of these stadiums and it had also written a letter to the President’s Secretariat, Islamabad in February this year demanding full control of the stadiums.
