KARACHI, June 13: Unbeaten centuries by Naeem Ahmed Khan and Shahid Latif guided Pakistan CC to a comprehensive 157-run victory over Young Cooperators CC in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament match at the New United Gymkhana ground on Sunday. Naeem, a wicket-keeper/batsman, hit 110 with three fours while Shahid struck seven boundaries in his 100 as Pakistan CC reached 282 for six in 40 overs.
Young Cooperators CC were bundled out for 125 in the 21st over with slow left-armer Adnan Kalim taking four for 21.
In another match at the Landhi Gymkhana, Khurram Manzoor blasted six sixes and as many fours in making an undefeated 121 that helped Malir Gymkhana thrash Comrade Sports by 180 runs.
Former Pakistan junior skipper Khalid Latif contributed 73, including three sixes and four fours, as Malir Gymkhana made 297 for three.
Comrade Sports mustered 117 in reply, with spinners Salman Fazal (four for 19) and Ariz Kamal (three for 25) doing the damage.
