Photographs’ exhibition on Kashmir struggle

ISLAMABAD, June 13: A photo exhibition was organized by Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) on Monday to highlight the freedom movement in occupied Kashmir. More than 1,000 photographs were displayed at the exhibition which portrayed the struggle of JKLF chief Yaseen Malik who obtained more than 1.5 million signatures in support of including Kashmiris in the peace process.

Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz took keen interest in the photos and went around different sections of the exhibition along with JKLF leader Yaseen Malik and Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

Appreciating the rare collection of photos displayed in the exhibition, the prime minister said every photo had its own message to give. These photographs also projected the message that Kashmir issue should be resolved peacefully and Kashmiris be given their rights, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, JKLF Chief and leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Yaseen Malik said every photo displayed in the exhibition gave a message of struggle, hope and sacrifice.—APP
