KARACHI: Admissions to KU evening programmes

KARACHI, June 13: The Director of the evening programme at Karachi University, Prof Shahid Zaidi, announced that the date for acceptance of admission and tuition fees from those included in the merit list for different departments had been extended up to June 15. Fees through pay orders made in the name of the University of Karachi will be received at the directorate of evening programme from 3.30pm to 7pm, said a KU press release.

MA ENGLISH: The KU semester examination section has released the results of MA English (Literature) final, 2005, of the evening programme.

The successful candidates are as follows: First Class-Dilshad Akbar Ali (first position), Naheed Nigar Lutfullah (second position), Hallah Chamman Simon (third position) and Amber Munshi.

Second Class-Qaisar Islam, Riaz Ahmad Barni and S Kausar Ali.

Meanwhile, the university notified that the fresh registration forms and fee of BA, BCom, BOL and BSc (improvement of division) annual exams-2005 will be accepted till June 27, adds PPI.

A late fee of Rs600, in addition to the actual fee of Rs1,300, will be charged from June 13 to 20, while late fee of Rs700 will be charged from June 21 to 27.
