KARACHI, June 13: Nine ships including a rice loader and a tanker to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was light where three ships, Banglar Gourab, Arhimidis SB, to unload coal and Badulu Valley to offload soyabean meal were berthed after the departure of six.

The ships, which departed included Iran Baaraib, Global Princess, Pacific Express, Banglar Doot, Banglar Gourab and Nefeli-1, while no ship is expected to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was brisk where a total tonnage of 0.110m tons comprising 35,897 tons of export cargo and 74,570 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Kapitan Tsirol, to load 15,000 tons of rice, Vanda Naree, with steel and general cargo, Stolt Markland, with base oil, Minsa, with 3,500 tons of palm oil, Kota Tampan, APL Jeddah, EAX Sanctity, Thor Capitan, and Banormis Pride, with containers.
