Nakazawa out
TOKYO, June 11: Defender Yuji Nakazawa is out of Japan’s Confederations Cup squad because of a knee injury, team officials said on Saturday. Nakazawa’s place in the 23-man squad will be taken by FC Tokyo’s Teruyuki Moniwa. Nakazawa played through the pain barrier to help Japan beat North Korea 2-0 last week and secure a place in next year’s World Cup finals.—Reuters
