Major power breakdown hits interior Sindh
SUKKUR June 11: A major power outage following a dust storm plunged the entire Sukkur city and areas of Khairpur, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Larkana, Ratodero, Ghotki, Daharki, and Mirpur Mathelo into darkness. Superintendent Engineer Operations said that the trouble started when a 66-kv pole was uprooted by storm which also caused cracks in another tower in Bashir Abad, near Sukkur bypass. It led to suspension of power supply to these areas.
