By Our Sports Reporter

ISLAMABAD, June 10: A trio of senators has put in a requisition to convene a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Sports to discuss “non compliance” of commitments by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).

In their requisition to the committee’s chairman, Zafar Iqbal Chaudhry, Senators Murad Ali Shah, Muhammad Enver Baig and Dr. Kouser Firdaus, have asked him to take notice under Section 163 (4) of the Rules of Procedures and Conduct of Business in the Senate 1998 to discuss the following:

1. “Financial irregularities and non compliance of commitments in the committee meeting regarding finalisation of the Pakistan Cricket Board constitution.”

2. “Non-compliance (by the Pakistan Hockey Federation) of the questionnaire submitted by honourable members.”

3. “To discuss deterioration” of squash.
