United CC top group


KARACHI, June 9: United CC became Group ‘D’ champions after overwhelming Dawood Sports by seven wickets in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament here at TMC Ground on Wednesday.

Batting first, Dawood Sports were bundled out for 111 in 24 overs. United CC, in reply, reached their target in 24.1 overs for the loss of three wickets.

In another match, played at NBP Sports Complex, Muhammad Hussain Memorial CC outclassed Bilal Friends by five wickets thanks to an explosive knock of Faisal Iqbal, who made 6 with five sixes and four fours. Mohammad Zafar also played with exactly 50.
