Naveed banned

LAHORE, June 8: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday banned Naveed Alam for a year for producing forged documents regarding his age. Naveed played the entire PCB-Pepsi national school tournament last year representing Government M C High School Tandlianwala and submitted fake documents showing him four year younger than of his actual age, said a spokesman of the PCB.

“He has been banned for a year and we hope that this punishment will serve as a deterrent for others over aged players from taking part in future tournaments,” he said.—APP
