636 Sikhs arrive for Jorr Mela

LAHORE, June 8: Some 636 Indian Sikhs arrived here on Wednesday to celebrate a three-day Jorr Mela, starting on June 14 at Gurdwara Dera Sahib near the Lahore Fort. Officials of the Evacuee Property Trust Board and the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee greeted them at Wagah.

During their 10-day stay, they would also visit their other holy places in Nankana Sahib, Hasan Abdal, Farooqabad and Aimanabad.

Speaking on the occasion, ETBP chairman Zulfiqar Ali Khan said that special arrangements had been made to facilitate their stay here.
