By Our Reporter

KARACHI, June 7: The visiting leaders of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference are expected here on Thursday for a two-day visit on the last leg of their visit that commenced with a bus journey from Srinagar to Muzaffarabad. Addressing a news conference at the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday, leaders of the All Parties Kashmir Committee cautioned the Sindh government against attempts to prevent the Kashmiris residing in the province from according their leaders a warm welcome.

They maintained that such a move would create misunderstanding, and asked the government to arrange their meeting with the APHC leaders.

Those who addressed the news conference included Sardar Aziz Khan of the All Jammu Kashmir Muslim Conference, Sardar Akhtar Hussain advocate of the AJK People’s Party, Sindh chapter, Sardar Liaquat Hayat of the Jammu Kashmir National Awami Party, Sardar Mushtaq of the Kashmir Liberation Front, Sardar Shoaib Chughtai of the Jammu Kashmir National Liberation Front, and Sardar Zareen Khan of the Jammu Kashmir People’s National Party.

They reiterated their stance that no lasting solution to the Kashmir issue was possible without the participation and consent of the Kashmiri people in negotiations.
