KARACHI, June 6: A gunman of slain police official Bahadur Ali was killed after being kidnapped by unknown persons in New Karachi. His body was recovered from a New Karachi graveyard near Allahwali bus stop on early Monday morning. Police said that Abdul Rauf, 45, was dismissed from the police department four years back.

The police official was also posted in the defunct district Central where he also took part in the ‘Karachi operation’, police said.

Police said that Rauf was kidnapped by unknown persons outside his house in Sector 5-F, New Karachi.

Police shifted the body to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where sources said that victim had suffered a bullet wound in the head.

MURDER: A mentally ill policeman killed his wife in the Saddar police limits on Monday.

Police said that sub-inspector Agha Imam Ali, 38, suffering from mental disorders had become a violent patient two years back.

According to police, due to his violent behaviour family members used to keep him chained.

On Monday, when his wife Shabnam, 26, went to give him meal- Ali attacked her and strangulated her with chain.

Police said that Ali’s brothers were also in police, they were present in the house when the incident occurred.

KILLED: Unknown persons killed a young boy after kidnapping him. His body was recovered from Mangopir on Monday morning.

Police said that initially the identity of the boy could not be ascertained, but later he as identified as Zeeshan Khan, 7.

A missing report was lodged at the New Karachi police station on June 5, 2005. He was a resident of the Lal Shahbaz Colony, New Karachi.

Police said that the body was subjected to sodomy and later strangulated.

ACCIDENT: Two persons died in a road accident in Darakshan on late Monday night.

Police said that Ameer Ali, 30, was speeding his car when it hit a couple on a motorcycle at Khayaban-i-Bukhari.

The accident resulted in the death of the pillion rider Uzma Bibi, 40, her husband Roshan and son were wounded in the accident.

Police said that after hitting the motorcycle, the car rammed into a wall of a house causing death of Ameer Ali.
