Pakistan 147 for 3

KINGSTON (Jamaica), June 5: Pakistan made 147 runs for the loss of 3 wickets and wiped off a 30-run deficit against the West Indies in the second and final Test match here. Younis Khan and Inzamamul Haq were at the crease. A fine 153 by Brian Lara helped the West Indies overhaul Pakistan’s first innings total of 374 by 30 runs on the third day. But Pakistan’s bowlers were able to peg back the West Indians, grabbing their last six wickets for the addition of 129 runs from their overnight score of 275. Shabbir Ahmed and Shahid Afridi picked up four and three scalps respectively.

In his majestic knock Lara struck 20 fours and two sixes from 233 balls in close to five hours of batting.
